Hello Lovelies,
I'm literally dying over the obsession I'm presenting you today...why? Because it combines my two favorite things; clothes & boys.
Yes, I'm a typical teenage girl. Sue me. Don't hate-appreciate. (;
So what faboulous trend could comine boys & clothes?! The Boyfriend Trend. Hooray for that! It's the comfort of wearing your boyfriend's clothes in luxe fabrics & shades made perfectly for us ladies!
Now, as I am fully aware of...trust me... not all of us have a boy toy we can steal clothes from...ye
s Ryan Gosling, I am availible...but you can totally fake it till you make it with this trend! Thank goodness for that.
So here's how to get a little testosterone into your closet...& no crazy love affairs involved.
When I think of boyfriend jeans, the first celebrity that pops into my head is Jennifer Anniston. Effortlessly cool, she pairs these relazed jeans with a simple tee, wedges, and a fedora.
Here's my spin on things: with boyfriend jeans, I suggest never going uber baggy with your tops. Since boyfriend jeans are looser than your average skinnys, try going with something a little slimmmer up on top, like a flowy tank, with the front tucked in...gorg. For me, these jeans need some adorable
& fun, yet simple shoes. Try oxfords for a more casual look, but ankle booties for a glam-er look.

Boyfriend Cardigans-long, cozy, so so chic.
In my opinion, everyone looks good in a cardigan because they come in so many shapes and sizes. I adore boyfriend cardigans because they're longer than a regular cardigan and can just add a certain casual-ness to a look.
To continue with some celeb-spiration like I did with boyfriend jeans...so here it is; Selena Gomez. She has clothes that I would literally to die for, including this cardi. Lucky girl, she has the boyfriend cardigan and the boyfriend...yes, I had to include that comment (:
How I would style the boyfriend cardigan is simple...go short. I love how chic a boyfriend cardi can look with a mini dress or tees and shorts. Just make sure that you can tell you're wearing pants from behind...there's a general rule you can follow-allow an inch to be between the bottom of your cardigan and your dress/skirt. As for shorts like cut-offs or high waisters, "scrunch" your cardi up in the back to get that, 'oh I just sat down' look, so you can see your short bottoms.
Of course, there's also oversized men's shirts than can be cinched at the waist with a skinny belt for a shirtdress look. Just please, for the sake of your class, make sure the shirt is a resonable length & it doesn't look like you forgot pants.
Don't forget boyfriend touches the next time you're getting dressed!
It's an infatuation really,
xoxo. Rachel ♥
