Seeing Spots...

Hi, my name is Rachel and I have a serious obsession with leopard print...
Leopard.

I blog this to you like I'm an addict, but honestly, I am addicted to leopard print (I have my own unofficial official leopard days every couple weeks). There. I admit it. Why wouldn't I be? There is something so glam about leopard that no other other animal print can truly compare to in my opinion. Yes, zebra, snakeskin, and faux-croc are also very trendy, but to me, they don't compare to glam level that is known as leopard.

For me, leopard has this certain aura to it. I feel like if you add leopard to any outfit, it can make it seem so much more glamourous and classy. Rachel Zoe, celebrity stylist/designer and one of my fashion idols says, "I think every woman should have leopard, but not every woman will wear leopard. You have to have courage to wear leopard." I believe she is so true in that comment. Have you ever seen any one in leopard that didn't look confident? No one that is looking to be on the sidelines for the night would put on leopard; leopard honestly can make you feel sexy. It's oh-so-very glam.

Leopard to me is also sooooooo pin-up. Whenever I think about the type of woman that is the epitome of this look, I always imagine the same thing: that bombshell girl with the corsetted leopard dress, red lips, and 40s hair...can you see it?

I included some of the cutest leopard pieces I could find above (links below), and I hope you love them as much as I do. My favorite? That leopard rabbit fur vest... I'm seriously considering finding a faux version online (save the bunnies!)...what can I say? I was having a Rachel Zoe Project marathon & now I'm obsessed with fur vests and saying, "I die." I also loved those leopard wedges. Leopard pumps are a staple that should be in every woman's closet, but these wedges are uber trendy & I'm dying to just splurge and buy a pair. I would also LOVE to have those sunnies...or that pencil skirt...or those rain boots...you know what? I would love to own it all.

So take a trip on the wild side, and look purrrrfect! (Sorry, I really felt the need to make that sentence super corny). A little leopard goes a long way, so if you're a little hesitant about wearing leopard, start with smaller pieces like bracelets, shoes, or a scarf...and when you're feeling like being the glam-a-zon you are, break out that leopard mini dress & show them spots girl!

Always remeber, just like double denim, one leopard piece is all an outfit can handle, unless you want to show up on next weeks episode of Fashion Police as a streetwalker.

It's an obsession really.

xoxo. Rachel ♥
